Carlsbad Paddle Sports offers introductory kayak classes throughout the year and evening paddles during the summer and fall. Preregistration and a deposit are required.

Kayaking instruction for beginners. Learn about paddling strokes and safety using a variety of sit-on-top kayaks.

Location: Oceanside Harbor - Saturdays 8 am -10am. Class meets at boat ramp on Pacific St.

Intro to Surf Kayaking - $40.00

Learn to launch, land, brace and ride in ocean waves using a variety of sit-on-top kayaks.

Location: Carlsbad Beach - Sundays 8-10 am. Call for class location.
